Branding project
TOYPO is a series of educational products and the names of fictional creatures made with alphabet letters. They wear masks that do not always correspond to their inner-self letters.
This project aims to make people aware of their underlying stigma and biases by breaking down the expectations of those who judge a character externally and assume their inner life.
TOYPOFACE – Playbook
This split-page book invites laughter with the silly combinations of the monogram. This book offers not to match the pages to get the right one but breaks the existing concepts and creates a new one.
TOYPOGRAPHY
A collection of short stories of 4-frame illustration strips, which is one of the common forms of Japanese comics. The stories with the characters seem cute at a glance, but it is dark in real like a cautionary tale that tells a life lesson not to judge only by how they look. Effectively using the shapes of the eye brings play and a slight fear to the back of this accordion booklet.
